Jill Hawkins
Owner & Co-Founder
Jill began event planning in 1987. She worked for several float builders for the Tournament of Roses Parade as an event producer. Following this, she began working as an assistant to a top-end Hollywood party planner, designing weddings, baby showers, corporate parties and many other events. She became an event coordinator for one of the most popular entertainment companies in the party business – planning events from weddings to Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.. Her highly organized nature and passion for planning events led her to create MHPevents with her previous partner Inger Miller.
PARTNERSHIPS
MHP works with a team of the industry’s top professionals. From rentals to design, audio/visual to catering our team members are the top in their field and we bring them all together to execute a seamless and phenomenal event every time. Over the past 18 years MHPevents has partnered with The Baker Group (TBG) as a project lead working on large scale events like The Milken Institute Global Conference and National Wildlife Federations – P-22 & Urban Wildlife Week.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Jill has been an active member in The John Muir High School Alumni Association - volunteering our services and producing the annual Turkey Tussle game at the Rose Bowl. Jill also spends her time volunteering with organizations in her home-town community, Pasadena, CA including the Tournament of Roses as a “White Suiter”.
